Lead Teacher
My passion for teaching children became evident when I was a teenager. I loved babysitting, helping with the Special Olympics, and being part of Sunday School. I knew I wanted to be a teacher well before beginning my Bachelor of Education Degree. I graduated with honors from the University of Winnipeg in Canada and began teaching immediately after graduation.
I have taught a variety of grades. During the past few years, I specialized in program planning for students and their families. In that role, I also ensured student goals, report cards, and IEP’s were completed and implemented.
We moved to Florida from Canada a year ago. My son Luke is attending Hope Ranch Learning Academy for his first year and we are grateful beyond means. He is 15 years old. We travelled a long way to find a school in which we trusted for his academic learning, but moreover for the Godly dedicated group of administrators and staff who make him feel that he belongs and is loved for exactly who he is! It is an incredible feeling, and I will always strive to ensure your child feels the same way as I get to know them, their passion, challenges, and giftings.
When I am not at school, I love walking in the fields with our farm animals, gardening and, when time allows, swimming in the beautiful Florida waters.
