I have an Associate Degree in Computer Science and a certificate in Accounting. My son (who is now 32)
was diagnosed with ADD in Middle School and I have a five year old granddaughter who has Autism.
Both of these situations have given me a spirit of love for children with learning disabilities.

Every child was created as a blessing from God and deserves to be treated as such. I attempt to show as
much love, understanding, and patience that my mentor Jesus had for all. A smile, kind words,
encouragement are the tools I use to help them grow and learn.

Hope Youth Ranch has blessed me with so much joy. Every day I look forward to going to work. Every
morning we get to gather together, listen to a devotional, discuss it and then pray together. As a
Christian this helps me to grow in faith and then to top it off I get to share that faith with the children.
This is now my third year at this wonderful school and I hope to have many more.
