Jose Suarez was recently interviewed by Mr. Lee Dury who is the Deputy Director of Grassroot Operations for Americans for Prosperity. In this interview for National School Choice Week (Jan 25 - 29, 2021) Jose presents to him the history and present operation of HOPE Ranch Learning Academy as well as their operating philosophy as a Christian School that have made them so successful.

“We had to re-invent school in a week. Those were 18-hour days nonstop,” said Jose Suarez, the school’s founder and executive director. Given gaps with devices and connections, “We had to come up with a system that was low tech, that could be deployed regardless of whether there was a computer in the home or not, and could be deployed on a daily basis.”
